A general medicine practitioner, commonly referred to as a GP, is a medical doctor who specializes in many diseases affecting the body, whose primary treatment does not involve surgery. General practitioners are trained to provide care for patients of all ages.

General Medicine deals with almost all range of both acute and chronic diseases including fever, asthma, heart disease, liver problems, hypertension, neurological problems, and other ailments.

Goals:

Analgesics: Drugs that relieve pain.

Antacids: Drugs that relieve indigestion and heartburn by neutralizing stomach acid.

Antianxiety Drugs: Drugs that suppress anxiety and relax muscles (sometimes called anxiolytics, sedatives, or minor tranquilizers).
